GUIDELINES FOR ALL DEVOTEES

 

You are entering a place of sanctity and worship. Therefore, when you are in the temple:

1.       Remove your footwear before entering the temple.

2.       Consumption of food/Prasadham and drinks are not allowed.

3.       Smoking is not allowed.

4.       Mobile phones to be switched off or put into silent mode and to be answered outside the temple.

5.       Silence is to be observed during Pooja times.

6.       Do not touch any of the deities, including those in the Utsava Mandapam, except the Atma Lingam located at the North Tower.

7.       Do not enter the sanctums except that of the Atma Lingam located at the North Tower.

8.       Do not block the central passage ways to the shrine so as to allow devotees at the rear to have a view of the deities.

9.       Taking of Photos and Videos is not permitted inside the Temple without the permission of the Temple Management Committee. If allowed, photos of the temple cannot be used in any publication without the permission of the Temple Management Committee

10.   Photos or Statues of any kind (including those that have been worshiped at homes or purchased anew) cannot be brought into the temple for worship or community pooja. However devotees wanting to have such items blessed can do so.

11.   Devotional songs in praise of the Lord only (not Gurus) are to be sung from the Temple Prayer Book.

 

 

DRESS CODES

Gentleman

Ladies

·        Shirt or Kurtha with full-length trousers or Dhoti preferred

·        Hats or caps of any form are not allowed

 

·        Traditional saree or Punjabi dress are preferred

·        Working pants or ankle-length dresses are preferred
