Positions of Chief Priest and Assistant Priest
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above positions.
The ideal candidates will have had wide and considerable experience in all Hindu religious procedures and rituals, necessary for the efficient and smooth running of a large Australian-based Hindu Temple.
Apart from daily temple rituals, (abishekaham, archana, pravachanas etc), they must be proficient in the conduct of Havans, weddings and major religious festivals and ceremonies (Shivarathari, Navarathari etc.). As visitors to the Temple come from diverse and varied Hindu backgrounds, the candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, Tamil or Hindi etc. Proficiency in other Indian dialects and languages and also computer skills will be a tremendous advantage.
Salary & Benefits:
1. Remunerations approximately $19 800.00per year (gross) plus 9% superannuation.

5. Fixed Dakshana for major festivals etc
6. Reasonable re-location expenses for single person including return air fare after twelve months and end of the contract period.
